'Crossing Over'

‘Crossing Over’ is a new work for the Totally Thames Festival

and explores how the weather affects the experience of

crossing over the Thames on foot. Climate change has made

our weather unpredictable and these images look to reflect

this uncertainty- inconstancy is our new normality.

These two collages merge together crossing over the Thames

in fine and adverse conditions into one single narrative

 - from crossing over a bridge in bright sunshine  with not a

care in the world to what can seem like an epic struggle to

simply get across a bridge in rough conditions- crossing over is always a unique experience.
